Academy Bed and Breakfast in Cheshire offers three beatiful rooms all with private baths in this 1790 Federal style home. While we are close to the center of Cheshire, the house sits on three acres of land with apple orchards and fields beyond. It was last renovated in 1987 and features interesting architectural touches. One of the unique features of the property is the barn which is the only one of its style left in New England. All rooms have comfortable seating areas, desks, and private phone lines. While guests will certainly enjoy their rooms, they may also want to spend time in the sun room or living room. The sun room has a service area and is stocked with refreshments. A TV, VCR and stereo are located in this room. The work of local artists can be found in all of the rooms and are available for purchase. Cheshire has ample restaurants and is close to local malls, ski areas, hiking trails, and theaters.
