The historic museum building is the oldest structure in Honiton, dating to before 1327. Fifty years ago the chapel building was bought by the townspeople and opened as a museum. Exhibits are displayed in three galleries, the Murch Gallery, the Nicoll Gallery and the Norman Gallery. Featured are Honiton pottery and lace, Victorian dolls, period rooms, and prehistoric (as well as more recent) area artifacts. Open Monday-Saturday, April 1-October 1; other times by appointment.
