Located just south of the developed areas of Amelia Island, this state recreation area offers over 200 acres of undeveloped sea island recreational opportunities. Pristine beaches, salt marshes and coastal maritime forests provide a glimpse of Florida's native & natural beauty. The Kelly Seahorse Ranch offers horseback rides along the beach; other activities include shelling, fishing, hiking, sunning, and bird watching. Amelia Island is on Florida's northeastern coast, just 7 miles north of Little Talbot Island State Park, or 8 miles south of Fernandina Beach.
