A primitive 110-mile trail that offers panoramic views of the vast water of the lake, marshes, waterbirds and wildlife. Hike or bike atop the 35-ft Herbert Hoover Dike that encircles the second-largest freshwater lake in the United States. A portion of the Florida National Scenic Trail; access is free to the public. Guided tours are available. Located off the Florida Turnpike; exit Yeehaw Junction, then 441 south.
