Located on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii, the Blue Crescent School of Botanical Medicine strives to share traditional herbal medicine with a strong voice of ethics and integrity. The school offers a balanced, comprehensive education for aspiring herbalists. Programs are rooted in the western biosciences, Chinese, and wise woman traditions and emphasize experiential learning. There is an apprenticeship-style twelve week intensive program in traditional herbal medicine.

Merrie Monarch Festival Hilo HI June7-9 Merrie Monarch Festival is a week-long cultural event held annually in Hilo on the island of Hawaii. Festivities start on Easter Sunday and culminate with the Hula competition events at the Edith Kanaka'ole Tennis Stadium - Miss Aloha Hula on Thursday, Hula Kahiko on Friday, and Hula 'Auana on Saturday.
