Not everyone arriving in Hawaii is draped with a lei, the flower necklaces that are a famous island greeting. There are over 7,000,000 visitors yearly and some tours include leis, others do not. Independent travelers can order a lei here. They require 48 hours notice and a standard lei is a mixture of orchids and carnations.
