Hawaiiana is the focus at this cultural resource center with interactive activities that include language, traditional skills, crafts, cultural practices and art forms. The center's atmosphere has the warmth of a family home. 'Every item in the center has a story,` says Kehaulani Kekua, center director. `The beauty of the project is that family and friends are involved; everything was brought together from their collections or are personal artifacts.`
