This tour departs from Kaluakoi Resort and takes visitors on a two hour safari van tour of the 1,000 acre game preserve next to the resort. Animals introduced from similar semi-arid climates are thriving in the scrub and brush in this dry area. Animals from Asia and Africa include zebras, giraffes, kudus, elands, rheas, wild turkeys, oryxes, aoudads and blackbucks. Food and snacks are available. Reservations are required. It is closed Christmas and New Years Day. There is a fare charge.
