Hawaii's Plantation Village is a non-profit experiential outdoor museum and ethno-botanical garden dedicated to Hawaii's multi-ethnic heritage. Authentic structures and artifacts at the village depict the life, struggles and innovations of the plantation workers that came to Hawaii from Japan, Okinawa, China, Korea, the Philippines, Puerto Rico and Portugal. Plantation history of Hawaii is featured, depicting actual artifacts and photographs, while also recreating furnished plantation camp homes, store, infirmary, Japanese temple, cook house, plantation office, Chinese Society House and more.

Annual Maui Steel Guitar Festival Maui HI April19-21 Featured performers will also conduct on-site school visits to various Maui schools to educate and and inform Maui's youth about the Hawaiian steel guitar. These visits, targeted specifically for students of these schools, includes both educational sessions and entertainment by the visiting performers.
