Located in Middle Amana is the Communal Kitchen & Coopershop Museum. Filled with utensils, pots and pans, the work areas look just as they did a century ago. Across the street from the Ruedy Kche, the coopershop sits quietly, belying the activity that once filled it. The coopers in the communal Amana Colonies produced tubs, barrels, and other containers used throughout the community.
