Henry County Health Center is a 99-bed facility providing health care services to a population of over 20,000 people in southeastern Iowa. In 1994 Henry County Health Center received national attention when it was identified by Modern Healthcare as one of the top 100 hospitals in the United States and in the top 20 rural hospitals with fewer than 250 beds. HCHC has become the the area's "hub" for health care, serving the needs of both community members and those requiring more specialized care.
