There's more to the Idaho School of Massage Therapy than meets the eye. Students are offered three levels of instruction beginning with the four-month "Technican" program followed by the nine-month "Practitioner" and the 12-month "Therapist" programs.
Within the Technician phase, the student is exposed to the Basic Swedish Module, the Shiatsu Tech is focused on Oriental Bodywork and the Reflexology Tech stimulates the hands and feet to affect desired results.
The Bodywork Practitioner is involved with the Connective Tissue Bodywork Module and the Massage Practitioner program offers both Western and Eastern, techniques, as well as movement classes. This programs manifests itself in occupations such as Spa Attendant, Health Club, Chiropractic and Physical Therapy.
The Massage Therapist will likely be involved in Stress-Management, Remedial Therapy, Chiropractic or Physical Therapy.
