Albertson College of Idaho is a private liberal arts institution located in Caldwell, Idaho. It was founded as The College of Idaho on October 7, 1891 and is the state's oldest four-year institution of higher learning. The school moved to its present site in 1910 and today contains 21 buildings on 43 acres.
For the third consecutive year (2000), U.S. News & World Report magazine again named Albertson College the best regional liberal arts college in the West.
An interesting campus highlight is the Whittenberger Planetarium located in the Boone Science Hall and hosts several astronomy shows each year for local school children and adults.
ACI is in Canyon County and has an enrollment of about 800. Student housing is available for 485.
