Hansen, serving an area of 2,600 residents, has a collection of 11,500 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 100 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 440 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes. Internet terminals are available for use by the general public.

Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $9,600. Patrons make 6,600 visits annually, and check out materials 11,500 times. Twenty-five percent of all check-outs are children's materials.

Intermountain Equifest Pocatello ID June20-23 We will have trail riding competition, extreme cowboy race, posse drill presentation, grand entry, horse show, barrel racing, pole bending, bucket races, flag races, and kids games. Horseback and on foot.
Shoshone-Bannock Festival/Powwow Ketchum ID August9-11 This three-day outdoor exhibition of 130 artists from around the country features a wide range of unique handmade fine arts and crafts including painting, photography, fiber, ceramic, metal, jewelry and woodwork.
Western Idaho Fair Boise ID August16-25 Idaho's biggest fair, held annually in August in Boise.
Eastern Idaho State Fair Blackfoot ID August31-September7 The Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot begins Labor Day and features horse racing, demolition derby, rodeo, and top name stars along with the excitement of the midway rides and wide range of food booths.

The fair has all the traditional elements of an agricultural fair, including exhibits and 4-H competition.
