Search Visit Illinois

The DuPage River is located in the highly urbanized western suburbs of Chicago and flows through DuPage County and Will County before emptying into the Des Plaines River. Its name is derived from a French trapper and trader, Du Pazhe, who was an agent of the American Fur Company. Older maps called it Aux Page, LaPage Creek and/or Page Creek.
