Located in southeastern Illinois in St. Clair County, this Goalby Design Course offers 18 holes of championship golf and a practice facility that is second to none. Far Oaks starts in the tradition of a Scottish links-style course with native prairie grasses and wild flowers. The course quickly flows through majestic oak trees with elevation changes associated with mountain courses. Their impressive 8,400 square-foot log-built full-service clubhouse offers a grill and bar, meeting room, locker rooms and a well-stocked pro shop. Numbers from the Black tees are: 7,000 yards, 73.3 rating and a stiff 141 slope. The Blue tees are rated at 71.4 with a 132 slope while the White tees carry a rating of 69.8 and a slope of 126. Ladies play from the Red tees which are rated 71.8 with a slope of 114.
