PrairieView is a public 18-hole, par 72 course located in northern Illinois in Ogle County. Various awards include: a 4-star rating by Golf Digest; the 6th hole was selected as one the 18 best in Illinois; rated #1 by Golf Digest for the best medium-sized golf city and #12 for the best golf city overall and "The Best Addition to the Golf Scene" by Rockford Magazine. The men have a choice of three sets of tees. The championship Gold tees rate at 72.3 with a 123 slope, the Blues weigh in at 70.6 and 119 and the Whites are rated at 69.4 and 117. Ladies play to a 71.6/117 from the Red tees.
