Shady Oaks is a semi-private 18-hole, par 71, relatively short 5,900-yard course located in north central Illinois in Lee County. The men's tees are rated at 67.2 while the ladies play a 4,650-yard course rated at 71.6. No slope numbers were available. The par 4, 415-yard 4th is the signature hole of the course. It is a narrow, tree-lined, dogleg left with a fairway sloping left to right. More trees guard the right-to-left and back-to-front sloped putting surface making par a very good score.
