Sunset GC a public 9-hole course, par 36, 3,150-yard course located in northern Illinois in Ogle County. The men's tees are rated at 71.1 for a full 18 holes with a slope of 114 while the ladies play a 2,700-yard course rated at 66.9 with a 105 slope. The course is in the mold of a parkland-style facility with plenty of water, sand and trees to make things interesting. Throw in a cornfield just off the fairways and you have that distinct Midwestern ambience. Comparatively hilly, the course has several doglegs and one double dogleg.
