Since 1917, Witham Health Services has been serving the health care needs of Boone County. As part of their mission, they are committed to providing high-quality healthcare to citizens of Boone and surrounding counties. A pioneer among community hospitals, Witham was one of the first hospitals in the state and country to implant intraocular lenses after they were approved. In the new millennium, they continue this tradition as they open a new replacement hospital facility. The new 128,000 square foot hospital will provide state-of-the-art technology and services while ensuring patient privacy and comfort. With 80 active physicians on the medical staff and more than 200 dedicated Associates, their talented team is well qualified to deliver the excellent care that has been a tradition for more than 80 years.
