Located one mile north and three miles east of Baldwin Cityin southern Douglas County, 538 acres of beautiful land surround a 180 acre lake. Fish in hte lake include bluegill, white and black crappie, largemouth bass, channel and flathead catfish, carp, and white amur. Two floating boat docks provide a relaxing setting. After a catch, visitors are welcome to use the cleaning stations provided. A privately owned marina also rents boats and carries supplies.
There are many species of wildlife around the park, including fox and gray squirrel, white-tailed deer, coyote, muskrat, beaver, and more. Snow geese and ducks migrate through the lake.
Camping allowed and is free to the public, although there are no electrical hookups or shower facilities. Three pit restrooms are available.
