The 75-bed facility offers a range of health care services including emergency services; physical and occupational therapies; state-of-the-art birthing suites, perinatal services and a Level II nursery; cardiac diagnostic testing and rehabilitation; surgical services; sleep disorders center; medical/surgical intensive care unit; pain management clinic; and radiology services. Saint Luke?s South was designed to be patient friendly and operationally efficient and takes advantage of new technology such as wireless communication, electronic patient records and bedside registration. Saint Luke's South also offers a 90,000-sq.-ft. medical office building to allow patients and physicians easy access to health care services.

Heart of America Shakespeare Festival Kansas City MO June18-July7 The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival is set under the stars in South Moreland Park near Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. It is a perfect way to spend a summer evening with family and friends. They have several programs to study and explore such as Speaker's Bureau and Poster and Sonnet Contest. The faculty includes theatre professionals, actors, and educators experienced in performing and teaching Shakespeare. Many of the instructors are veterans of festival productions.
