A non-profit organization that offers public excursion train rides May through October, private charters and school tours April through December and seasonal dinner trains and Silver Flyer railbus trips. Unique! From I-70 exit #275, 2 miles south on K-15 (Buckeye St.) across from the Eisenhower Presidential Library & Museum.

Children and adults alike can find that special something with a visit to our Railroad Gift Shop. The Gift Shop and Depot is located at 417 South Buckeye in Abilene, across from the Eisenhower Center and adjacent to the Greyhound Hall of Fame.

The 1919 Baldwin 4-6-2 "pacific", Santa Fe #3415 was moved to its' present location at the Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad yard in April 1997 from the city park in Abilene where it had spent the last 40 years.

Plans are to restore the #3415 for future use by the Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad. Grants have been applied for. Any donations for this project will be gratefully accepted.
