An elegant 1909 Edwardian, Queen Anne house, on the National Register of Historic Places. There is a Carriage House and spacious park like grounds as well. The house contains its original early twentieth century furniture and household furnishings used by the Schaeffler family.

The William F. Schaeffler House Museum is open for tours by appointment only. Please call 620-947-3775 or visit the Hillsboro Museums Visitor Center.

The Hillsboro Museums Visitor Center is open:
Tuesday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 12:00, 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
We are closed Mondays, January & February
