The Abita Brew Pub and Restaurant was voted the best on the Northshore! Along with great foods we feature many specialty beers and the Abita Root Beer. This root beer is brewed with vanilla for creaminess and a pinch of yucca to produce a lacy foam collar, then it is sweetened with pure Louisiana cane sugar. The results is a drink reminiscent of the ones made in the 1940s and 1950s before the use of corn sugar and fructose. Albita root beer is naturally sweet and caffeine free. This great root beer is also available at the restaurant where everything is joined for your dining pleasure.
