One of the South's hottest fishing lakes is the 4,970-acre Caney Lake. In fact, nine of the state's top ten bass were caught in these waters. The park is located on a peninsula on this great lake. Offering two boat launches and a fishing pier that cater to all types of sportsman, you can fish, boat for pleasure, water ski or simply enjoy the view from the water's edge.
Crystal-clear water and a shoreline rich in beautiful mixed pine and hardwoods make this site a perfect place for memorable outdoor experiences. Facilities include 73 improved campsites, laundry room, picnic sites, three picnic pavilions, a playground, a swimming beach, plenty of woodlands for the avid birder and hiker and a network of park roads for cyclist.
