French doors open to an iron-laced gallery overlooking Cane River. The master bedroom features an antique bedroom suite consisting of a half-tester bed, marble top dresser and armoire of walnut. It also has a cozy sitting area for TV viewing or reading books. The master bath contains a whirlpool tub and separate shower. The bottom floor of the Ducournau building provides an excellent restaurant.
