North Monroe Community Hospital was the original name of the healthcare facility that opened its doors to Northeast Louisiana and South Arkansas in August of 1983.
Over the past 20 years the hospital has grown from a 110-bed community hospital to North Monroe Medical Center, a full acute care, 255-bed facility with expanded services and an increased number of physicians and employees working to meet the needs of the community.
With services such as cardiac surgery, ExpressCare, rehabilitation and therapy services, geropsychiatric services, occupational and sports medicine, diabetes education, sleep lab, Women & Children?s Center and oncology, radiology and surgical services, they are a comprehensive medical center.
