Nottoway Plantation Restaurant and Inn stands overlooking the Mississippi River. This enormous mansion was completed in 1859. It offers bed and breakfast accommodations. Overnight guests may stay in original bedrooms in the main house, or in the boy's wing, or the overseer's cottage. All rooms include a cruet of a welcome refreshment beverage, wake-up call with hot coffee, juice, and sweet potato muffins, and a full plantation breakfast. The restaurant serves shrimp cocktail, soups, smoked and grilled quails, pasta primavera, roasted pork loin, and desserts. The white ballroom, with its elegant triple archway, plaster frieze-work, and Corinthian columns, provides a spectacular setting for special events.
