The Dudelange Municipal Museum is concerned with the history of the town of Dudelange, which to a large extent means the history of the steel industry in Dudelange. Indeed, the Museum is located in an opulent villa formerly occupied by the director of the iron and steel plants of Dudelange.
Besides exhibits documenting the history of the metalworking industry, the Dudelange Municipal Museum contains archaeological artifacts unearthed in or near Dudelange, documents recalling the local history, and exhibits relating to Mont St-Jean and its historic chapel.
