Turkey Point Lighthouse can be seen on one of the heavily wooded bluffs comprising the peninsula formed by the North East and Elk Rivers, and the Chesapeake Bay, where this 2,188-acre park is located. Several trails meander through the diversified topography; an easy walking trail to Turkey Point Lighthouse provides a view of the Elk River and the Chesapeake Bay.
Recreational amenities include a boat launch, boat rental, cabins, campfire programs, campsites, campstore, dump station, fishing, flatwater canoeing, hunting, picnicking, playground, shelters, swimming, a visitor center, and Bowers Center rental. Pets not allowed on the beach. Launching ramps and rental boats are available at the Rogues' Harbor Boat Area and picnic sites are available near the beach area. Picnic pavilions are available for rental. A rifle range is open Tuesday-Sunday.
