Greenbrier is a multi-use state park located in the Appalachian Mountains; hiking trails provide a look at a variety of wildlife habitats and a view of the area's geological history. The Appalachian Trail passes near this 42-acre lake, which is stocked with trout, largemouth bass and bluegill; a beach features swimming and sunbathing opportunities. The man-made freshwater lake offers swimming, sunbathing, boating and fishing opportunities; state fishing licenses are required.
Picnic tables, grills and playground equipment are available in the day-use area. Camping facilities are available, as well as a boat launch, boat rentals, and a camp store is open. Nature study and interpretive programs are offered.
