Trips that offer young people the fun and excitement of a wilderness river, the serenity of paddling a Maine lake, and the experience of observing wildlife -- all in the midst of some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. We travel in traditional wood-canvas canoes, carrying everything we need. Most time is spent away from the base camp on trips from five to forty days. Tenting, cooking over an open fire, fishing, swimming, hiking up a mountain. Campers return with a sense of accomplishment, joy, and respect for their natural environment.
