MaineGeneral Medical Center is an acute care hospital with facilities in both Augusta and Waterville. It is the result of the merger of Kennebec Valley and Mid-Maine Medical Centers. Both campuses provide emergency care, medical/surgical care, maternal and child health, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services.

MaineGeneral Health is the parent corporation of a network of acute care hospitals, physician practices, rehabilitation centers, long term nursing care, and assisted living and retirement communities.
