Nicknamed America's Lighthouse Museum, the museum houses exhibits of U.S. Coast Guard relics. This look into the past includes working lights, horns, bells and life-saving and lighthouse equipment.
Also on display at the museum are Civil War uniforms and weapons, carved ivory, and ship models. There is an exhibit of postcards with lighthouses and lightships, and a doll collection with costumes from 1399 to 1890.
Interactive hands-on exhibits and changing displays vary the experience every visit.
Open daily from 10am to 4pm, June to October.
