Nestled in a stand of pine and birch on a secluded point overlooking Moosehead Lake in Maine, Moosehead Lodge was built at the turn of the century as a summer residence and hunting lodge for the Johnson and Johnson family. Throughout the past century this magnificent 4,000 sq. ft. lodge has been used as a private residence and a hunting camp and resort. The Moosehead Lodge is an ideal setting for reunions, small conferences and professional gatherings. The lodge offers activities for all ages and interests. Accommodation includes five fully equipped bedrooms. A large boathouse and dock are included in the property for the use of guests. Next to the dock, a protected beach offers swimmers of all ages access to the water.
