Mapleton Elementary School promotes excellence in education and the lives of its children through a shared community vision. Its mission is to develop an educational community - that would include parents, community members, staff and children - where people are accepted, affirmed, challenged, confronted when necessary, and always supported. The family resource center at Mapleton Elementary School is a room in which parents can feel comfortable. A lending library of books, videos and printed materials related to parenting and education are provided.
