The outdoor education program at Camp Everhart currently affects over 2,000 local students each spring and fall. The environmental outdoor education program is at its busiest in spring and fall, but over the past few years, both spring and fall have extended so far that they have added winter environmental outdoor education as well. Camp Eberhart enjoys a rich and lively history full of tradition and folklore. What began as a young boy's dream has grown into one of the most progressive and enriching camps in the nation. One of the first camps in the country to hold Young Ladies Camp, Eberhart went fully co-educational in the 1970's.
