Located on Lenox Avenue, the mansion is a Spanish mission-style estate on the banks of the Detroit River. Completed in 1927 at the cost of several million dollars, the mansion features ornate stone and marble work, rare black walnut and rosewood parquet floors and more than 75 ounces of pure gold and silver leaf highlights on the ceilings and moldings. Tours are given Friday through Sunday at 12:30pm through 6pm.
