This museum is housed in the offices of what once was the largest hardwood flooring plant in the country. Begun in the 1880s, the brand name was derived from the phrase `I excel`. On display are the company offices, with late 19th century furnishings and office equipment; tools and equipment used in the early lumber era, and the second story living quarters of the owners and executives.
