This 88-bed acute care facility includes four operating suites, a coronary/intensive care unit, and an obstetrics unit, which includes four birthing suites. The medical center?s emergency services department, open 24 hours, features 11 patient treatment areas. At the heart of the medical center is its dedicated staff of professionals. Each team member is an integral part of the success of the organization.

Since opening in 1999, West Branch Regional Medical Center has added many new services to stay on track with its mission ? ?to be the preferred health center through service and excellence.? Some of those new services include heart catherization, magnetic resonance imaging, cardiac rehabilitation, the pain clinic, increased rehabilitation services and a pediatric surgery orientation program.

In addition, with the help of the Tolfree Foundation, the medical center constructed a helipad in 2001 to make it easier and safer for medical evacuation helicopters to land.
