Located on River Street, this museum displays artifacts reflecting the history of the county. Exhibits include photographs, Finnish items, logging and mining equipment and a replica of the Ontonagon copper boulder, which was recorded in 1843 as weighing 3,708 pounds.

Open Monday through Saturday 9am-5pm May through December; Monday through Friday 9am-5pm the rest of the year.
