Located on North Michigan Avenue, this museum is housed in the 1904 Georgian-revival Ring Mansion. Major collections include 19th and 20th century American art, and collections of Asian art, landscapes, contemporary prints, plaster sculpture by John Rogers and textiles. A permanent collection of art by E. Irving Couse also is on display. The garden is landscaped to its original design. Open Tuesday Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 1pm-5pm; closed holidays.
