Camp Birchwood is tucked between the tall evergreens and beautiful birch trees of north-central Minnesota near the Chippewa National Forest. Nestled on Steamboat Lake, 250 miles north of the Twin Cities, Birchwood's private and peaceful location affords nearly exclusive use of the lake and surrounding areas. In camp, cabins are centrally located and just a short step away from natural wood chip paths and green grassy lawns. With the deep blue lake waters of Steamboat shimmering on the south edge of camp, and hundreds of acres of undisturbed, camp-owned forest stretching in every other direction, campers find themselves at home in a beautiful outdoor setting that offers a wealth of water and land activities.
