Eagle Lake Golf Center is a primary feature within Hennepin Parks' 230-acre Eagle Lake Regional Park. The Eagle Lake Golf Center, which is set for a projected opening in July 2001, will offer many different golf amenities to choose from. It will include a 9-hole, Par 31 golf course (The Eagle), a 9-hole lighted Par 27 pitch and putt course (The Birdie), a 40-station lighted, natural-turf practice range, and practice /lesson areas. Soft spikes required. The Park will have a year-round visitor center, which will also serve as the clubhouse. The Visitor Center/Clubhouse will feature a meeting room, cart and club rentals, lockers, and computerized golf handicapping. 'The Nest' food service area will offer beverages, sandwiches, soups, salads and snacks, providing a great stop for a lunch hour practice outing. The year-round Golfview reservation picnic shelter is available for either golf or winter season group activities.
