Giants Ridge offers play at one of the finest golf courses in the Midwest, mountain biking, and winter sports activites in northeastern Minnesota's Iron Range. The largest terrain park in the Midwest, 34 alpine runs, 70 km of skate and classical ski trails including more than 3 km of lighted trails and a 6km snowshoe trail, 60 km of groomed cross country ski trails weaving through the Superior National Forest at Giants Ridge, and easy access to more than 2,000 miles of groomed snowmobile trails challenge all levels of skiiers. Two triple chairlifts, 3 double chairlifts, and a J-bar have an uphill capacity of 7800 skiers per hour; lift lengths run between 1,800 and 2,500 feet. Food, lodging in on-site sports dorm, special events and entertainment can also be had here. Group discounts, sleep and ski packages, equipment rentals and lessons.
