Features the Hjemkomst, a 76-foot replica of an ancient Viking ship built by Robert Asp. In 1982 the ship sailed 6,000 miles from Duluth to Bergen, Norway; the voyage is recounted through photographs and a videotape presentation. Traveling exhibits are presented in the Heritage Hall. Also in the center is the Clay County Historical Museum, which houses local history displays and temporary exhibits. We also have 12th Century Norwegian Stave Church replica and Red River Valley exhibit.
