Kanabec Hospital is a modern facility in Mora, Minnesota, licensed to operate 49 beds. The hospital was established in 1945, with the most recent expansion completed in 1997. Currently, the hospital is constructing an addition that will double the size of the campus.
Services include 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department; ambulance department; inpatient and same-day surgeries; intensive care; mental health services; laboratory and imaging services; inpatient medical care; physical, occupational and speech therapies; maternity care; respiratory therapy; a cancer clinic; and social services. Also located in the hospital are a dialysis unit and a hospice unit.
