This is the former flagship of the United States Steel fleet. Named for a former president of the company, the 610-foot ship served 1938-78. Guided tours pass through the engine room and pilot house. Open Sunday-Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday & Saturday 9am-8pm, Memorial Day-Labor Day; daily 10am-4pm, May 1 through the day before Memorial Day and the day after Labor Day to mid-October. A haunted tour is given daily mid-October to late October.
