This old strip pit has been reclaimed to make this 1,132-acre park which provides opportunities for swimming at several lakes, one features a sand beach that can also be accessed for fishing and canoeing.

This is one of only two state parks to allow off-road motorcycling and approved ATVs. Races are scheduled throughout the summer. Other park amenities include picnic area and campground, boating limited to trolling motors only. Located 10 miles north of Columbia, off Hwy 63.
